Monday Call 2-17-20

Good Evening Orange Families, this is Mrs. Williams with a look at the upcoming week.

Wednesday night is our PTA Magic Show.  Please note, the start time will be 6pm, and that is a change from the time on the flier.  The doors will open around 5:30pm, and the Magician starts at 6pm.  You must have a ticket to come to the show!

Thursday the Bengal Choir will be performing at Santiago. The doors will open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7pm.

Friday we have Club Day!   This club session is the last time your child will meet with this club group.  In March we will switch to new clubs.  If you would like to come help us, please come at 7:45 and we will put you in a club that needs parent helpers!

Attention 6th grade families, are you starting to think about the transition to Jr. High?  Don't forget to get your immunizations updated. They will need Tdap in order to register for 7th grade, along with a second Varicella and MMR if they did not receive those already. Please bring the immunization proof as soon as you have it completed to our school. Our Health Office will input these records and your 7th grade registration packet will be able to move forward.  Remember, without these immunizations updated, students will not be able to register for classes.

Have you bought your yearbook yet?  The deadline is quickly approaching.  There is a link on our website if you want to order your yearbook online.  There is also a link if you want to submit some of your own photos for consideration in our yearbook.  You guys take the best pictures and we'd love to have access to them when the yearbook is created!

This week we will practice Habit 7- Sharpen the Saw.  This means that we have balance in our lives.  We take the time every day to Sharpen the Saw by doing something for our hearts, bodies, mind and spirit.  One way we will practice Habit 7 this week at Orange is by participating in our Student Clubs on Friday.  It gives our kids time to learn something new, practice a skill or interest, and to have a little bit of fun while doing it.

It's going to be a great week at Orange and we'll see you tomorrow morning.
